Ring Sizes

How do I know what ring size I am? Finding out your ring size is quite simple!

While the most accurate way to measure your ring size is by visiting a professional jeweler, you can also do it comfortably at home by following these simple steps:

  1. Gather a piece of string or a strip of paper.
  2. Gently wrap the string or paper around the finger on which you would normally wear the ring.
  3. Mark the point where the string or paper crosses or overlaps.
  4. Measure the length of the string or paper from the end to the point of intersection. This will be your circumference measurement.
  5. Compare this length with a ring size chart to find your corresponding size in terms of diameter, size in Mexico/USA, or size in Spain.

This DIY method will help you determine your ring size effectively. ;)

Another way to do it is by measuring the inner diameter of a ring that you already have at home and know fits you well and is your size. For this method, you will need the ring you have at home and a ruler.

You should take the ring and measure the inner diameter of it, meaning, measure from the inner edge of the ring. From there, you will get the millimeters corresponding to your size.

Then, just like before, compare your measurements with our size guide to find yours.

If you have any doubts, we provide a link to an explanatory video of this second method for measuring your size: [link].

Why It's Important to Know Your Ring Size?

At Oreille Cassée we belive that understanding your ring size is essential to ensure that your ring fits correctly and is comfortable to wear. If the ring is too small, it can restrict circulation to your finger and be uncomfortable. If it's too large, the ring may move around or even fall off.

Supplementary Tips for Measuring Your Ring Size

It's essential to measure your finger at the right temperature because temperature variations, whether it's cold or hot, can affect the size of your fingers. Additionally, it's advisable to take the measurement towards the end of the day when your fingers are more likely to be slightly swollen. Also, keep in mind that your finger size may vary depending on the hand you use for the measurement.
